In the spirit of autumn and the transitional wines to fall in love with this season, I’ve partnered with Rust en Vrede – one of my favourite wine farms just outside of Stellenbosch (and clearly, also someone else’s if you have a listen to this podcast…) to give away a Winemakers Lunch for two at Rust en Vrede’s Tasting Room.
If you haven’t been, one thing that this wine farm has become known for other than its top-quality wines, is its meat. Think Chalmar Sirloin and Fries with a Garden Salad; a Pepper-crusted Fillet with Fries and a Garden Salad; or Norwegian Salmon with Baby Potatoes and Greens. Of course, your lunch will be paired with a glass of wine from Rust en Vrede’s impressive collection.
These lunches are served from 12:00 – 15:00 on Mondays through to Sundays.
