The SUITCASE & CHARDONNAY Podcast, one of South Africa’s emerging voices in lifestyle storytelling, is celebrating the release of its 50th episode, marking an exciting milestone in the journey of sharing inspiring conversations and curated experiences across travel, fashion, food, wine and intentional living.

As an extension of the SUITCASE & CHARDONNAY Blog, the podcast has become a trusted source of inspiration for listeners seeking authentic stories, expert insights and memorable experiences that enrich everyday life.

Since its launch, the SUITCASE & CHARDONNAY Podcast has welcomed an impressive collection of guests, including leaders in luxury hospitality, tourism, fashion, wine, food, entrepreneurship and creative industries. The podcast’s 50th episode – featuring the Sabi Sabi Collection’s latest luxury safari offering, Sandringham, with Managing Director, Rod Windham as guest – represents more than a number. It reflects a growing community of curious, aspirational listeners who value meaningful travel, authentic experiences and the art of living well.

Reaching 50 episodes is very rewarding and I am incredibly excited about what lies ahead for the SUITCASE & CHARDONNAY platform. What started as merely a dream has evolved into a platform that connects listeners with inspiring people, remarkable destinations and experiences that celebrate both local and international excellence. Every episode is an invitation to discover something new – whether it’s a destination, a brand that I believe in, a creative journey or a fresh perspective on life.

Over the past 50 episodes, I’ve hosted guests like winemakers, Johan Jordaan, Pieter Ferreira and Mika Engelbrecht; Chef Candice Philip from Cyra Restaurant at the Houghton Hotel; Wine Master, Tim Atkin; actress, Leandie du Randt; Babylonstoren’s Museologist, Elsa Vogts, FYN Group’s Jennifer Hugé; Vergenoegd Löw’s Chef Michelle Theron; entrepreneur and author, Chris Bertish; Club Med South Africa’s Managing Director, Olivier Perillat-Piratoine; ENVI Lodges’ co-founder, Chris Nader; designer, Lezanne Viviers; Hoven Design and more. The podcast is known for its focus on storytelling that extends beyond trends, highlighting the people, heritage, craftsmanship and innovation behind exceptional brands and destinations.

As experiential travel, conscious living, slow fashion, farm-to-fork dining and oenotourism continue to shape global trends, listeners increasingly seek trusted recommendations and insider perspectives when planning their lives, wardrobes, future adventures and more. The SUITCASE & CHARDONNAY Podcast (and the blog) answers this demand by offering a blend of destination, fashion, food and wine inspiration, expert interviews and practical insights for modern travellers and lifestyle enthusiasts.

Looking ahead, you can expect even more exclusive interviews, destination features and reviews, and conversations with industry leaders from around the world. The podcast will continue to spotlight exceptional experiences while encouraging audiences to embrace curiosity, creativity and a life filled with memorable moments.

Episodes of the SUITCASE & CHARDONNAY Podcast are available on major podcast platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts and YouTube. Also follow the blog, where these stories live on in written form, and find day-to-day inspiration on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.
