Moms of Menlyn: A Must-Visit Family Expo This June

Mark your calendars for a weekend of inspiration, parenting insights and family fun! Menlyn Park Shopping Centre is set to host its first-ever Moms of Menlyn expo on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June 2025, from 09:00 to 17:00 daily – and you’re invited.

Curated in response to the growing demand for meaningful, family-focused experiences, this two-day event will transform the ground floor of Menlyn Park into a dynamic hub of over 100 parenting and lifestyle exhibitors, all celebrating the beauty of modern motherhood and South African family life.

What to Expect of the Moms for Menlyn Expo

From beloved national retailers to boutique, specialist services, the expo promises a treasure trove of offerings. Discover brands you know and love – Ackermans, Chelino, Clicks Baby, Dis-Chem, Exclusive Books, Toy Kingdom, Tulips & Tea, Ultra Pure and Zinplex – as well as niche favourites like Bau Photography, Curaden South Africa, Kido Co, Nika Couture’s Mommy & Me collection, Poju Poju and the Sister Lilian Centre.

Plus, don’t miss insightful talks by parenting expert Dr Margreet Barnardt from the Sister Lilian Centre. She’ll be presenting on Saturday (10:00, 11:30, 13:00 and 13:45) and Sunday (12:15 and 13:00) – ideal for parents looking to learn, connect and grow.

Beyond the Booths: VIP Perks & Family Fun

While entry to the expo is free, a limited number of VIP passes (R150) are available for those wanting an elevated experience. VIP guests will enjoy:

The fun doesn’t stop with the adults, though. Bluey, the much-loved blue heeler pup, will be popping in for meet-and-greets on both days from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Menlyn Sky open area, while Dinki and Doodles take the stage at 14:00 on both Saturday and Sunday for a magical kids’ show.
