As with every other season, the 15th season of Boer Soek ’n Vrou is starting to get real following the fourth episode. Each farmer has now voted out another two women and the remaining three – their top three, so to speak – will visit them on their respective farms next week.
It was a bittersweet fourth episode for the farmers as they had to say goodbye to two additional lovely ladies each, uncertain whether they really made the right choice, but hopeful that they did. Still, they are all left with three women whom they will now get to know even better, and that in a more comfortable and familiar environment – the places they call home.
The latest episode consisted of a group activity where they were asked to write a song under the guidance of Loki Rothman. They were given four different themes for the song and in the end they all ended up singing and laughing together. This was followed by a lovely picnic (with wine, of course) and afterwards the farmers had some one-on-one time with each woman, grasping every minute to ask whatever came to mind or what pressed on their hearts.
HERE’S WHAT HAPPENED ON BOER SOEK ‘N VROU LAST WEEK
Top farmer, Louis B
For Louis B the day at Grande Roche had a positive outcome when it comes to his head and making sense of a couple of things, but he had to find a way for his head and his heart to work together. Eventually he invited Kisha, Rachie and Cherise to visit him on the farm in the next episode. He is excited about showing them his world and what stood out most was that he needs someone who will say her say, but also support him in what he does.

Philru, the Free State farmer
Philru immediately admitted shyly that he is not used to all the attention, especially from so many women at once. In fact, one could see that in the way he downed that glass of wine – something he initially said he doesn’t drink! He’s a humble Free State farmer who decided to challenge himself by entering Boer Soek ’n Vrou and now he needs to pull through and think carefully before making any decisions. Still, he spotted some characteristics in three of the girls he’d like to get to know better early on already and didn’t need much time deciding on who he would like to invite to the farm.

Karla, Sumari and Lané will be joining Philru on the farm next week. Philru is confident that he will be able to give a little more of himself and who he is as a person when they are on the farm, since that is where he is most comfortable.
Farmer Francois
Francois had some great laughs writing the song together with the five women he chose to get to know better. His one-on-one sessions were also comfortable and insightful. For him, it was important to know how the women would adapt to the farm life and he was rather straightforward about the matter.
He enjoyed the alone time with the ladies, and in the end he invited Lizelle, Vanessa and Lorinda S (with the blonde hair) to visit him on the farm. While he had to make the decision in a very short time, he believes he made the right choice.

Hennie with the heart of gold
Hennie and his group of potential matches thoroughly enjoyed writing their song together. Hennie loved the togetherness and just being comfortable among them all, since he believes that communication is an important part of the process. That is also why the one-on-one sessions were so valuable to him.
He likes to think about things and is careful to make decisions too quickly, but eventually invited Eloïse, Madeleen and Rachel to visit him on the farm.

Louis M from Bela Bela
Louis M is the main joker among the farmers, yet he says he has come to realise that people sometimes use jokes as a mask. During the one-on-one sessions, he was very honest and straightforward and got to know each and every girl better as fast as possible.
He asked Dihana, Laurette and Anja to join him on the farm next week after Alichia, who seemed a little quiet all along, asked him to vote her out.

Join me as we travel across the country again next week, getting to know the farmers and their trios of choice better.
Boer Soek ’n Vrou airs on kykNET (DStv channel 144) on Thursdays at 20:00.
