SUMMARY:Decorex Johannesburg 2026: Interior Design Trends\, Exhibitors & What to Expect
DESCRIPTION:Decorex is back in Joburg soon and this year the Johannesburg design exhibition boasts five levels of design\, property\, food and ideas that will transform the Sandton Convention Centre into a platform that showcases current South African interior design and home décor trends for 2026. This year’s show promises to inspire and those keen on exploring the various stalls should prepare to arrive early and leave late as there will be a lot to see. \nWhy Decorex Johannesburg 2026 is Worth a Visit for Design and Decor Lovers\nTaking place between 30 July and 2 August 2026\, Decorex\, in partnership with 2026 lifestyle partners Lexus and Santam\, will offer dedicated floors for different parts of the home and the wider design industry. As always\, it will be a pick-your-own-adventure kind of experience\, inviting visitors to meander through the various floors at their own pace. From property and renovation on level 2 and kitchens and bathrooms on Level 0\, to 100% Design Africa’s contemporary African design on Level 2 and independent makers at the Capitec Design Market on Level 4\, as well as the country’s leading décor and furniture brands on Level 5\, this year’s Decorex event is set to inspire. If you’re intohome décor ideas\, modern interior design\, luxury interiors\, sustainable design and more\, Decorex is the place to be end of July. \n \n‘The Soft Life’ is Set to Bring a Likeminded Crowd Together\nShaped by a theme of The Soft Life\, this is one of the exhibitions in Johannesburg that looks beyond what we’ve been told the future of design should look like. You will find inspiration for design and décor that supports comfort in your home\, as well as connection\, restoration and everyday pleasure. Think architecture trends\, kitchen inspiration\, bathroom inspiration\, sustainable homes\, eco-friendly living\, lifestyle trends and more. \nKeeping to the ‘soft life’ theme\, the luxury lifestyle event will offer a place to pause on every floor\, allowing you to slow down and appreciate the benefits of humane design. Food and hospitality will be thoughtfully integrated throughout this year’s show\, so keep an eye out for Japanese dining at Kanpai\, cocktails at The Social Library\, a long-table meal at The Good Table\, wine at Bodega\, the Oil Mazi Market on Level 4 and street food on Level 2. Of course\, VIP ticket holders will also have access to the plush Soft Life VIP Lounge – an art-led space for conversation\, meetings and a break from the busy floors. \n \nThroughout the four days of the show\, you will be able to explore practical answers for renovations\, collectible design\, student work\, independent makers\, property expertise\, international voices and ample places to eat and drink. It’s one of the best creative events in Johannesburg for sure. \nEvent Details\nDates: Thursday\, 30 July – Sunday\, 2 August 2026\nTimes: 10:00 – 18:00\nVenue: Sandton Convention Centre\, 161 Maude Street\, Sandton\nTickets: Adults R160 online / R170 onsite; pensioners and students R130; children aged 12 – 16 R50; children under 12 free; VIP R450 \nGet your tickets here. \nFOR MORE EXCITING EVENTS AND HAPPENINGS\, CLICK HERE.
