Aren’t there negative effects?

Contrary to what many believe, CBD is entirely free from THC or tetrahydrocannabinol, which means you can enjoy all the health benefits of cannabis without the disadvantage of any psychoactive effects.

How does CBD work?

To understand the role and significance of CBD, you first need to understand the Human Endocannabinoid System’s (ECS) functioning. The ECS can be described as the body’s air traffic control centre. It controls psychological processes, including pain sensation and appetite. The ECS consists of two primary cannabinoid receptors: CB1 receptors (most concentrated in the central nervous system and the brain) and CB2 receptors (abundant in the immunological tissues and modulate cell fate).

The natural cannabinoids and phytonutrients found in CBD communicate with the CB1 and CB2 receptors to provide an effective way to reduce pain, inflammation, depression, stress, anxiety, sleep disorders and much more.
